This information portal has started as a joint project by the federal agencies CTI/KTI (Commission for Technology and Innovation), seco and BBT in 2004/05. The federal partners were joined early on by the members of the Swss Life Science Marketing Alliance (Cluster Initiatives Basel Area for Life Sciences, Bern Capital Area, Bio Alps, Bio Polo Ticino, Greater Zurich Area, the SIX Swiss Exchange, Medical Cluster and Swiss Biotech Association) The day-to-day management of the site is since 2006 with the Webcenter of ZHAW and Bridge Plus AG. The site is a non-for profit project.
